Precision in focus
The company ALMIKRO was founded in April 1995 by Andreas Löffler. Building on the founder's many years of experience in the development of flexible endoscopes, we were able to take a very good market position right from the start.

1995
Foundation of ALMIKRO in Bad Krozingen
The company ALMIKRO, was founded in April 1995 by Andreas Löffler.
1997
Merger into Medisecur AG
In 1997, ALMIKRO merged into the newly founded company "Medisecur AG".
1998
EN ISO 9001 certified
In 1998, a quality management system according to EN ISO 9001 was introduced and certified.
2001
Spin-off to ALMIKRO
For operational reasons, a separation from Medisecur AG took place in 2001.
2003
Comprehensive certification
Revision of the quality management system according to EN ISO 9001/2000, EN ISO 13485 as well as the directive 93/42 EWG, followed by successful certification.
2005
Karl Storz GmbH & Co.KG joins the company.
Conversion of the previous sole proprietorship into a GmbH & Co. KG and the sale of 60% of the company shares to Karl Storz GmbH & Co.KG in Tuttlingen.
2010
New company building
In 2010, the company moved into the new additional company building.
2019
Takeover by Karl Storz SE & CO. KG
Sale of the remaining 40% company shares to Karl Storz SE & Co.KG
2020
New managing director
Mischa Heuchele represents Almikro GmbH & Co.KG as sole managing director.
